International Day of Peace celebrated at Blossoms 'Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding.'- Albert Einstein Blossomites realize that there is no way to peace, rather peace is the way. So, the peace makers took up to various innovative ways to create awareness among themselves as well as in the society. The day started with the visit to different religious places by the students to develop interfaith understanding. It was also a day that was celebrated with much enthusiasm by the students.The special head gears , wrist bands, the crafted peace symbols and the acrostic poem on Peace indicated the keenness in the young minds for being in ambassadors of peace. Students and teachers also gave their opinion on world peace. Special Guests invited for the special event, Dr. Manoranjan Mishra, Country Coordinator, Masterpeace India and Dr Jyotshna Mohaptra, Member of School Managing Committee addressed the students and spoke on inter-cultural and interfaith bonding. The volunteer from overseas also participated in the event. The Founder Manager, Mr. Touraj Moghbelpour, Director, Mrs.Nadia Moghbelpour and the Principal, Mrs. Seemita Panda together applauded the innovativeness and the enthusiasm among the students and encouraged them to take up 'Peace' as the guiding lamp.


MUN' Program at Blossoms take off with zeal and ardour The Inaugural Peace Gong hammered with blessings and warmth by the Founder Manager, Mr. Touraj Moghbelpour and Director, Mrs. Nadia Moghbelpour marked the inauguration of The "Model United Nations' Program at Blossoms. This had indeed been a great way of learning and research for the students. The great debate on the Russia-Ukraine war had been the focus of the program where the students enacted as representatives of the 47 nations across the world. The first ever 'MUN' in Blossoms has been a great success.


Children's Day - The Memorable Day filled with Fun and Giggles 'Children are the budding stars, the more you embrace them the more they shine.' Blossoms observe Children's Day to celebrate their innocence and purity while providing unconditional happiness to us. The teachers made sure that the blossomites enjoyed their special day. The young blossomites of the Foundational Stage dressed up as per the theme for their fancy dress show. Other events for them on the occasion were art and craft, handwriting, etc. The senior students watched award winning movies and also visited the International Art Gallery. Further, the live painting on the canvas was done in the gallery itself by a few students. It was indeed a day to rejoice

40th Annual Function Day celebrated at Blossoms school

40th Foundation Anniversary - Way to Go Blossoms School celebrated its 40th Foundation Anniversary and Annual Function, 'Abhyudaya - Celebrating our Past, Shaping our Future'. The two-day celebrations were woven around the theme of reliving the past as a journey since the inception of the school that is full of experiences and learnings and rising up as per the expectations against all odds. The function was the platform that showcased the year's activities and achievements by the Principal in the form of Annual Report. The first day of the celebrations of the Annual Function (8th of Dec) was presided by the Eminent Guest, Shri Ananta Narayan Jena, Member of Legislative Assembly, Odisha . The theme dance - 'Abhyudaya - Celebrating our Past, Shaping our Future' performed by the secondary students; 'Nadaan Parindey' -the mesmerising dance by the Nursery kids; 'Technology -E-Azam' the family drama on the usage of technology by the Primary Students; were few special attractions. The second day of the event (9th of Dec) was presided by the Eminent Guest, Shri Sushant Kumar Rout, member of Legislative Assembly Odisha . The special attractions of the day were the Odia drama based on the foundation of the school ' Sapanara Pathe Pathe' performed by the Secondary students; 'Mo Chira Charitra Odisha' highlighting the rich culture of our state by Std -V students; 'Zindagi Express' exhibiting the different challenges and emotions of life by the UKG students, and many more such performances that influenced the audience. was indeed a magnificent and reverberating celebration on the 8th and 9th of December. The event meticulously planned by the students and staff of Blossoms envisaged the school's plans for the future while maintaining quality education and values . The distribution of the academic and endowment awards and the release of the annual souvenir, 'Reflections 2022' filled the evening atmosphere with much enthusiasm and positivity. The two-day event created a distinct abode filled with glamour, fun and charishma. The event was indeed a joyous feast to the spectators and was appreciated and enjoyed by all.


Grand Celebrations of the 75th Republic Day The 75th Republic Day celebrations took place at the Blossoms campus with the unfurling of the National flag by the Chief Guest, Mr.Anil Dhir. Students took pride in glorifying the spirit of unity and brotherhood and displayed their discipline and commitment through the flamboyant March past. The patriotism echoed in the campus with the songs and cultural items dedicated to Mother India. Principal, Mrs Seemita Panda spoke on the topic “Unity in Diversity:Our Nation’s Mosaic of Strength” and the Founder Manager, Mr.Touraj Moghbelpour addressed the students and highlighted the significance of the day. The event also served as the platform for giving away the Blossoms Excellence Awards in the field of medicine to Dr Zuben Mohanty; in the field of education to Mrs. Alka Panigrahi and in the field of Art to Mrs. Harapriya Pati, Mr. Shubhendu Ku Dash, Mr.Debasish Mohanty, Mr.Amaresh Panda and to Mr.Pralay Jena. The program concluded with the vote of thanks while each face glowed with patriotism and national pride.

Health Check-up/Dental Camp successfully completed

Dental and Health Check-up Camp at Blossoms " Smile is the prettiest thing you'll wear. So remember, Dentistry is not expensive.... Neglect is!" Blossoms has always given importance to health and hygiene of the students. As a concern for the oral health of the students, a two-day dental check up camp was organized in the school premises. Day 1- Check up for the Foundational Stage and the Preparatory Stage A team of senior dental specialists and paediatricians from Utkal Hospital, Bhubaneswar comprising of dentist Dr.Dibya Swain & paediatrician. Kanhu Panda carried out the one-to-one dental check up & health check up of the students and the staff members. The comprehensive dental check up of students of the different classes educated the students on oral hygiene stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases. Day 2- Check up for the Middle Stage and the Secondary Stage The team of senior doctors and dieticians, Dr.Sonika Dash (dentist) and Ms. Rushali Mohanty (dietician) checked each and every student minutely. The team also motivated the students for keeping their teeth strong and healthy. They further suggested different precautionary methods for their teeth problems.

Winter family fun carnival "Regale 2024"

Blossoms School has celebrated the Winter family fun carnival "Regale 2024" . Fun and Fervour - The Flavours of the Blossoms Winter Carnival Blossoms ground turned into a carnival that echoed laughter, excitement and merry making. The array of games stalls and food stalls along with the ambiences provided enough thrill to the students and their accompanying parents. The various performances of the students like standup comedy, song and dance were also worth watching. Chief Guest, Mr. Furutan Moghbelpour, Director, Strategies and Development, Blossoms School encouraged the performers and also visited the stalls to encourage the students and stall owners. The main motive behind the carnival was to imbibe a sense of responsibility among the students besides allowing them to enjoy the day to the fullest.

77th Independence Day Celebration

Freedom is our legacy, and Independence is our pride!" The 77th Independence Day Celebrations at Blossoms cherished the freedom enjoyed by us today with the promise to work towards a brighter tomorrow. The hoisting of flag by Chief Guest, Adv. Prashant Kishor Ray aroused the delight and pride in every heart while singing the National Anthem. The parade troops showcased their discipline and saluted the national flag. Various cultural programs by the students imbibing unity and nationalism were also part of the celebrations. The speeches and slogans by the students also instilled patriotism in the young hearts. The special display of traditional costume of the different states of India depicting unity in diversity. Founder Manager, Mr.Touraj Moghbelpour, Director, Mrs. Nadia Moghbelpour and Principal, Mrs. Seemita Panda motivated the students to work towards achieving the ultimate goals of the country and contribute in each possible way. The two-day Independence Day celebrations witnessed the students in the Foundational Stage displaying their talents on stage in various dance forms. The celebrations ended with embracing the joy of being independent and being free to dream and work for a better tomorrow. Science Exhibition Navonmesh 7.0 successfully completed

Navonmesh -7.0- The exhibition that opens the gates for innovations “Science is magic that works.” – Kurt Vonnegut Blossoms opens up various opportunities for its students to think like a scientist and come up with different innovations. Navonmesh -7.0 is one such great annual event that instills the scientific attitude among its students. Navonmesh 7.0, inaugurated by Dr. Sanghamitra Pati, Director & Scientist -G, ICMR, Bhubaneswar on the 4th of August showcased many static and working models by the students on the various contemporary issues. The students exhibited their talents and knowledge on the principles of science and came up with diverse solutions to the existing problems. Founder Manager, Mr. Touraj Moghbelpour, Director, Mrs. Nadia Moghbelpour and Principal , Mrs. Seemita Panda applauded the students' experimental ways for understanding science. The five groups of students participated whole heartedly in the exhibition. The groups were 'The Explorers'(Std UKG) with the theme, Our Environment; 'The Scientific Wizards' ( Std 1&2) with the theme 'Fostering Health and Nutrition; 'The Brainiacs' (Std 3&4) with the theme, Waste Management; 'The Critical Thinkers' (Std 5 ,6 & 7) with the theme Technological Advancement of Energy Resources and 'The Inquisitive Innovators' (Std 8 to 10) with the theme Innovation Management in Ecosystem. Guests and parents visiting the exhibition appreciated the efforts of the school and the school's Science Department for guiding the students towards scientific information and solutions.

The 39th Annual Function "Svavalambana"

Blossoms celebrated 'Svavalambana - The New Horizon' its 39th Annual Function and Foundation Day Blossoms School proudly celebrated its 39th Annual Function and the 39th Foundation Day in sync with the rhythms of Svavalamabana - the new horizon… A rainbow of colours and culture unfurled on the stage as the students performed the cultural items highlighting the self-reliance mission of the country on its 75th year of Independence. The event was graced by Sri Sangram Kesari Mohapatra, IAS, , Special Project Director, Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya, Sangathan, Govt. of Odisha as the Chief Guest, Founder Manager, Shri Touraj Moghbelpour, Founder Director, Smt.Nadia Moghbelpour, Principal, Smt Seemita Panda and the principals, members of School Managing Committee and other dignitaries from various school in the city. The function started with the soulful rendition of prayers by the choir group thanking the Almighty for letting that invisible hand be with all of us during our difficult times. The principal, Mrs Seemita Panda read the annual school report and brought to fore the achievements by the students. She also presented her vision for the progress of the school. This was followed by honoring the achievers and felicilating the toppers of Std 10 board exams & also their mothers. The school magazine, ' Glimpses 2022’ showcasing the skills of the students in writing was also released by the Chief Guest. Shri Sangram Kesari Mohapatra also appreciated the unique endeavors taken up by the school time to time and boosted the morale of the students. The various cultural activities, especially the theme dance- Svavalambana - the new horizon …. were beautifully showcased through myriad celebrations, well-stocked with entralling music, enactments and above all the zeal for performance by the students. The grand function concluded with the vote of thanks by the event coordinator, Mrs. Laxmpriya Panda who thanked the everyone for the success of the event, especially the teachers and the support staff for their untiring efforts towards the school and the function. The guests and the audience applauded each program with captivated minds wishing the well-being of the school and its students. The congratulations messages from the parents were not only satisfying but also very encouraging for the staff members of the school.
