Our Shining Stars Convocation for Balvatika III was a heartwarming celebration of our little graduates, marking the beginning of their bright future. Dressed in their graduation hats, they beamed with pride as they received their badges and certificates, ready to step into the next phase of their academic journey. The ceremony was filled with cheers, applause, and heartfelt moments as teachers and parents celebrated their achievements. Adding to the joy, we also celebrated International Women’s Day, honoring the strength, resilience, and contributions of women. 78th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT BLOSSOMS SCHOOL
Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom: 78th Independence Day Today, we stand with our heads held high while saluting the Tricolour being hoisted in the land of the free and the home of the brave. The 78th Independence Day, in Blossoms was both a day to celebrate the Independence as well as the day to remember the countless sacrifices made by our heroes who fought to give us the gift of freedom. The Flag Hoisting in Blossoms was done by the chief Guest,Dr Manoranjan Mishra .The students displayed their discipline and respect for the nation in the march past and other patriotic cultural programmes. Principal, Mrs. Seemita Panda and the Dean, Mr. P. K.Dash, both encouraged the students to try and put in their best towards the small changes they can do towards the society and turn 'Viksit Bharat' into reality.
Navonmesh 8.0- Annual Science Exhibition
Navonmesh 8.0- Flaming the Torch of Knowledge and Research Navonmesh 8.0, Blossoms' Annual Science Exhibition on 9th August, was indeed an event where the students showcased their scientific inquiries, creativities and innovations to the community. The event, inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr.Debasis Dash, Director, Institute of Life Sciences, Buubaneswar, featured diverse projects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences and Technologies. The students were divided as: Tiny Coders (Kindergarten); Cookie Bytes (STD 1&2); Code Crafters (STD 3&4); Cyber Centurions (STD 5,6& 7); and Advanced Techies (STD 8,9&10). The budding scientists in each group exhibited immense dedication in demonstrating their experiments and models on the wide array of pre-allotted topics. The judges, management, guests and the visiting parents were incredibly proud of the hard work and creativities of the students.
International Tiger day
Observation of International Tiger Day by Foundational Stage Kids On July 29th, our Blossomites observed International Tiger Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was specially designed for the foundational stage kids, aiming to raise awareness about tiger conservation while engaging them in fun and educational activities. The celebration began with a special morning assembly where the kids gathered and explained the significance of International Tiger Day. The kids participated in various art and craft activities. A storytelling session was organized where teachers narrated fascinating stories about tigers. A short animated video about tigers was shown, which captivated the children's attention and made the information accessible to their age group.
Monsoon Mania
Monsoon Mania: A Celebration of Nature and Creativity by Blossomites. Monsoon Mania was an exciting event held at our school to celebrate the monsoon season. This event aimed to educate students about the monsoon’s significance while engaging them in various fun and educational activities. The celebration included crafts, dance, and photography, allowing students to explore their creativity and learn about the environment. The crafts, dance, and photography activities provided a holistic learning experience, making Monsoon Mania a memorable celebration for all.

Challenging Minds - The Inter-house Quiz Competition in Blossoms The Inter-house Quiz Competition in Blossoms turned out to be quite a lively and intellectually stimulating one. The team members of 'Taxila' (comprising of Courage and Unity houses) and 'Vikramshila' (comprising of Friendship and Peace houses) showcased their quick thinking, teamwork, and extensive knowledge. The event provided an excellent platform for learning and self-improvement. The winning team Taxila demonstrated exceptional prowess and was awarded the winning trophy by the Principal, Mrs.Seemita Panda who also praised all the participants for their enthusiasm and engagement.
National Handloom Day
Blossoms observed National Handloom Day on 7th August, 2024. National Handloom Day was observed at our school with great enthusiasm. The event began with a special assembly where students learned about the history and importance of handloom weaving in India. The highlight of the day was a visit to a local handloom weavers' workshop. Students witnessed the intricate process of weaving, from spinning the yarn to creating beautiful fabrics on the loom. They explained their techniques and shared stories about their craft, giving students a deeper appreciation for handloom artistry. The visit was both educational and inspiring, reinforcing the value of preserving our rich cultural heritage.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY CELEBRATION
Foundational Stage Tiny Tots Observed Father's Day on 16th June, 2024. Father's Day is a wonderful occasion for children to express their love and appreciation for their fathers. Blossoms School engaged the students of the foundational stage in a variety of activities to celebrate this special day. Kids were asked to click photos, make cards, write a thank you note and also write a few points about their father and share. These activities not only celebrated the role of fathers but also provided children with an opportunity to express their creativity, enhance their skills, and spend quality time with their fathers in a meaningful way.
100% Achievement IN CBSE 10th Exam-2023-2024
Blossoms School has scored 100% Pass result in CBSE 10th Exam -2023-2024. Reaching our Milestone with Flying colours in the Boards The journey to success starts with the right motivation packed with conscious preparation. The untiring efforts of the Blossomites blessed with equally untiring support from their teachers has resulted in the very impressive results in the 10th Boards. The beaming faces of Ms.BiswaBijanayee (96.6%)-the school topper, Ms Vaishnavi (96%), Mr. Abhinanadan (95.6%), Mr. Debasis ( 94%) and the other subject toppers spoke at length about their dedication and hard work and also about the love and comfort from the Management. The students and their parents thanked the continuous flow of motivation spirit from their guiding light - Blossoms.
International Women's Day Observations in Blossoms
Invest in Women: Accelerate the Progress' Blossoms observed this special day for women in the school. The ever strong and committed female employees were made to feel special by the management for the road to progress adopted by them. The Director, Mrs. Nadia Moghbelpour talked about the accomplishments of Indian women in our communities. She also said that we should respect each of them not because of gender, but for their own identity. Principal, Mrs. Seemita Panda in her speech emphasized exercising self-importance and self-love as well. The short video released by the school speaks about the occasion, International Women's Day and also progresses made by the determined women community.

World Heritage Day 'One's heritage and roots are something to be proud of and cherished.' Blossoms observed the World Heritage Day celebrating and appreciating the uniqueness and the beauty of our heritage. Blossoms Interact Club and Blossoms Heritage Club in association with INTACH took the initiative to work on the theme 'Discover and Experience Diversity'. INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY CELEBRATED AT Blossoms School
International Day of Peace celebrated at Blossoms 'Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding.'- Albert Einstein Blossomites realize that there is no way to peace, rather peace is the way. So, the peace makers took up to various innovative ways to create awareness among themselves as well as in the society. The day started with the visit to different religious places by the students to develop interfaith understanding. It was also a day that was celebrated with much enthusiasm by the students.The special head gears , wrist bands, the crafted peace symbols and the acrostic poem on Peace indicated the keenness in the young minds for being in ambassadors of peace. Students and teachers also gave their opinion on world peace. Special Guests invited for the special event, Dr. Manoranjan Mishra, Country Coordinator, Masterpeace India and Dr Jyotshna Mohaptra, Member of School Managing Committee addressed the students and spoke on inter-cultural and interfaith bonding. The volunteer from overseas also participated in the event. The Founder Manager, Mr. Touraj Moghbelpour, Director, Mrs.Nadia Moghbelpour and the Principal, Mrs. Seemita Panda together applauded the innovativeness and the enthusiasm among the students and encouraged them to take up 'Peace' as the guiding lamp.
Blossomites Celebrate World Environment Day
On June 5th Blossoms School celebrated World Environment Day with a series of activities designed to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices among students. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and teachers. Activities like Virtual Tree Planting were conducted where students participated in a virtual tree planting event, poster making activity with the topics like healthy life style,adopting sustainable food systems, reducing e-waste,saving energy, saving water & saying no to single plastic. Promotion of community involvement and family participation increased environmental awareness and understanding and inspired everyone to commit to sustainable living through the green pledge. The celebration of World Environment Day was a significant success, demonstrating the effectiveness of virtual activities in promoting environmental education and engagement.
Blossoms In-House Teachers' Workshop'
Day 6 The 6-day 'Blossoms In-House Teachers' Workshop', the much awaited workshop, finally came to an end with each teacher better equipped technically to cultivate the best in the students. The teachers also got well-furnished on identifying the priorities while carrying out their responsibilities. 'The Work Profile of the Teachers' was presented by the Principal, Mrs. Seemita Panda. Discussion on “Classwork,Homework & Staff room Policies” were also carried out for the different stages by the respective coordinators. The teachers now eagerly look forward to implement their learnings in the current session soon after the school reopens.
Blue Colour Day Celebration
The Nursery kids at our school celebrated Blue Colour Day with great excitement and joy! The teachers and children came dressed in blue, making the day vibrant and colorful. Classrooms were decorated with blue colour posters and things showing a lively atmosphere that highlighted the theme. To make learning fun, teachers organized interactive activities such as blue-themed coloring sheets, identifying blue objects, and singing songs and dancing on the song related to the color blue. The celebration aimed to help young learners recognize and appreciate the color blue, while also boosting their vocabulary and communication skills. It was a wonderful and enriching experience for the children, enhancing their understanding of colors in a playful, memorable way.Winter family fun carnival "Regale 2024"
Blossoms School has celebrated the Winter family fun carnival "Regale 2024" . Fun and Fervour - The Flavours of the Blossoms Winter Carnival Blossoms ground turned into a carnival that echoed laughter, excitement and merry making. The array of games stalls and food stalls along with the ambiences provided enough thrill to the students and their accompanying parents. The various performances of the students like standup comedy, song and dance were also worth watching. Chief Guest, Mr. Furutan Moghbelpour, Director, Strategies and Development, Blossoms School encouraged the performers and also visited the stalls to encourage the students and stall owners. The main motive behind the carnival was to imbibe a sense of responsibility among the students besides allowing them to enjoy the day to the fullest.
Annual Sports (Kreeda 3.0)
Kreeda 3.0 - Where Champions Rise and Unity Thrives The two-day Annual Sports Meet (30th Nov-1st Dec) "Kreeda 3.0 - Where Champions Rise and Unity Thrives" took place at the Blossoms campus where students, teachers and parents gathered to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship. The Meet was split into two days - Day 1 for the sports event for Std 5- Std11 and Day2 for the sports events for students of std Nursery to Std 4. Day -1: The opening ceremony of the Annual Sports Meet, Kreeda3.0 kicked off with a spectacular bang. The Blossoms Flag was hoisted by honourable Chief Guest Mr. Siddharth Das, IAS, Secretary Sports & Youth Services. The flag symbolised unity, pride and celebration. The much awaited ceremonial torch passed through the hands of the house captains in the Mashal Yatra and was handed over to the Principal, Mrs. Seemita Panda, marked the opening of the event. Chief Guest, Mr. Siddharth Das, IAS, and Special Guest Mr. Jitu Satpathy, Ex. Ranji Cricketer graced the occasion and delivered inspiring speeches to encourage the students. Founder Manager, Mr. Touraj Moghbelpour and Director, Mrs. Nadia Moghbelpour met the finalists personally and encouraged them all to play for the spirit of sports. The Blossomites marched past the guests showcasing their commitment and discipline towards the event. The special oath taking by the referees and volunteers also indicated the fair and just proceedings of the event. The event then started with the blessings of the Almighty. The cultural and sports events together created a truly memorable day Day - 2: Principal, Mrs. Seemita Panda addressed the finalists and encouraged them to respect the flag symbolizing unity and peace. Founder Manager, Mr. Touraj Moghbelpour and Director, Mrs. Nadia Moghbelpour in their address emphasized on sports and physical activities being an integral part of holistic development of an individual imbibing discipline, commitment and team efforts in them. The enthusiasm and anxiety among the participants and spectators soared to great heights with each event producing talented players and records being set. The program featured various athletic events such as races, long jump, high jump, relay races, and fun activities for younger children. The younger children participated in fun activities like bursting the balloon, sorting colours and shapes, etc. which were a delightful sight. Few special games were also organised for the parents. The students also presented few cultural programs to cheer the participants. The closing ceremony was marked by the distribution of medals and certificates to the winners by the Chief Guest for the second day, Mrs. Subhashree Nanda, IAS, Additional Secretary, School & Mass Education. The Star Celebrity of the day Dutee Chand, Indian Professional Sprinter was a great attraction for the whole gathering. A sense of joy and pride prevailed while the Vote of Thanks was being delivered by Mrs. Laxmipriya Panda. The importance of physical activity and team spirit prevailed in the campus throughout the Sport Meet .Health Check-up/Dental Camp successfully completed
Dental and Health Check-up Camp at Blossoms " Smile is the prettiest thing you'll wear. So remember, Dentistry is not expensive.... Neglect is!" Blossoms has always given importance to health and hygiene of the students. As a concern for the oral health of the students, a two-day dental check up camp was organized in the school premises. Day 1- Check up for the Foundational Stage and the Preparatory Stage A team of senior dental specialists and paediatricians from Utkal Hospital, Bhubaneswar comprising of dentist Dr.Dibya Swain & paediatrician. Kanhu Panda carried out the one-to-one dental check up & health check up of the students and the staff members. The comprehensive dental check up of students of the different classes educated the students on oral hygiene stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases. Day 2- Check up for the Middle Stage and the Secondary Stage The team of senior doctors and dieticians, Dr.Sonika Dash (dentist) and Ms. Rushali Mohanty (dietician) checked each and every student minutely. The team also motivated the students for keeping their teeth strong and healthy. They further suggested different precautionary methods for their teeth problems.
Sunshine Fun Fest from 23rd to 25th April, 2024
Foundational stage students observed the Sunshine Fun Fest from 23rd to 25th April, 2024. On these 3 days of Fun Fest kids enjoyed and actively participated with enthusiasm. On the 1st day of Sunshine Fun Fest the tiny kids of Nursery, LKG and UKG enjoyed a variety of group activities and experienced the sea beach scene. They had the refreshing orange juice & the summer fruits like watermelon & mangoes. On the 2nd day of Sunshine Fun Fest, kids had fun and were engaged in individual activities, also experienced an amazing visual experience with Digital classes. On the 3rd day of Sunshine Fun Fest kids made themselves a chilled glass of lemonade with a glass of water in it they squeezed out half a Lemon added some sugar with a sprinkle of black salt and topped it up with mint leaves. The Sunshine Fun Fest was a fantastic experience for the foundational stage kids! Engaging in a variety of activities over the three days were both fun and educational. The activities helped improve their fine motor, gross motor and sensory motor skills while also teaching them about the summer season and its elements. Encouraging hands-on experiences like making lemonade can really make learning memorable for young children.

World Book Day
'There is no friend as loyal as the book.' Blossoms' Reading Club adopted the very unique way, 'Read-A-Thon' to propagate the habit of reading books among the students. While the book is considered as a great stress reliever, it is also the guide for the unexplored opportunities for the students.The 39th Annual Function "Svavalambana"
Blossoms celebrated 'Svavalambana - The New Horizon' its 39th Annual Function and Foundation Day Blossoms School proudly celebrated its 39th Annual Function and the 39th Foundation Day in sync with the rhythms of Svavalamabana - the new horizon… A rainbow of colours and culture unfurled on the stage as the students performed the cultural items highlighting the self-reliance mission of the country on its 75th year of Independence. The event was graced by Sri Sangram Kesari Mohapatra, IAS, , Special Project Director, Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya, Sangathan, Govt. of Odisha as the Chief Guest, Founder Manager, Shri Touraj Moghbelpour, Founder Director, Smt.Nadia Moghbelpour, Principal, Smt Seemita Panda and the principals, members of School Managing Committee and other dignitaries from various school in the city. The function started with the soulful rendition of prayers by the choir group thanking the Almighty for letting that invisible hand be with all of us during our difficult times. The principal, Mrs Seemita Panda read the annual school report and brought to fore the achievements by the students. She also presented her vision for the progress of the school. This was followed by honoring the achievers and felicilating the toppers of Std 10 board exams & also their mothers. The school magazine, ' Glimpses 2022’ showcasing the skills of the students in writing was also released by the Chief Guest. Shri Sangram Kesari Mohapatra also appreciated the unique endeavors taken up by the school time to time and boosted the morale of the students. The various cultural activities, especially the theme dance- Svavalambana - the new horizon …. were beautifully showcased through myriad celebrations, well-stocked with entralling music, enactments and above all the zeal for performance by the students. The grand function concluded with the vote of thanks by the event coordinator, Mrs. Laxmpriya Panda who thanked the everyone for the success of the event, especially the teachers and the support staff for their untiring efforts towards the school and the function. The guests and the audience applauded each program with captivated minds wishing the well-being of the school and its students. The congratulations messages from the parents were not only satisfying but also very encouraging for the staff members of the school.
